If you like The Posies then why not join the dear23 mailing list.
You can get mail from other Posies fans all over the world and learn a whole lot more about the band....for example you'll be the first to know about new releases and tour dates etc etc.
Ken from the band has been known to post to the list too.

Joining is simple, all you do is send an email to majordomo@citadel.slumberland.com

just write 'SUBSCRIBE dear23' and then your full name
for example this is what I would write :

SUBSCRIBE dear23 Nilesh Chauhan

make sure you don't include anything else in the message- and keep the subject line empty too..

There is even a Digest format for those who worry about a overfull mail box... so you see ,you have nothing to lose..join today! If I can, I shall have an example of what a diegst looks like.. :)

A mailing list is a discussion forum with a certain topic, where all communication is done through email. You write an email to the list address, and the letter is automatically sent to all the subscribers of the list. When they reply, they write back to the list address, and the replies reach you. It works a little bit like Usenet/news, the difference is that the discussion reaches your mailbox and not a Usenet server.
